im also 17 and the price for insurance on the car would vary due to ur past driving experience and also where u get insurance from. in my town there is 4 different insurance companies and each one told me a different price so u need to ask around. there are also discounts u can get if u show them a school transcript if u hav good grades and they have different safety packets u can fill out to get another discount. i would say you’ll be lookn at a good hundred bucks a month would b average but thats probably off a little. but when u first get insurance some companies require a two month down payment also so keep that in mind too. good luck
