Thank you! At least someone knows what I’m talking about. Another fact is that Asian drifters (and I mean the ones who had to touges) have more balls then any other drifters. Not only are they trying to avoid the other guy but they have traffic (sometimes) and they can’t **** up or its into the wall, or down the mountain. Once American drifters can do touge, then I will be impressed.
nice drifting,dont forget drifting has been happening since cars were invented,any controlled slide can be deemed a drift,its only in the last few years its become so popular.rally drivers are the ultimate drifters!! anyway,if you havent tried it,get a rwd car and give it a go!!you can either do it and love it,or wreck it!!!…..
that is very true, first drifters did it in the mountains,ive been to those mountains in japan and china, some not even 2 lanes, yeah these tracks are wide as fuck, but ofcourse, americans are always trying to follow the import scene, i dont see why drifting a *** convertible top z car is cool to him, these so called drifters just no how to get it sideways and count for style, they couldnt race and drift or touge for ****. thats the difference.
Honestly, American drifters would be beat if they went to Japan. Our drift courses are so wide its not even funny…Someone should create a decent track that isn’t so widely spread. Sometimes…it just looks like why are going straight…

damn you! GPS counter with angle and speed counting is the best way to choose the winner, not some idiotic japanese style judges….

no there are judges that award points to who they feel did the best in more than just angle, although that is a big part
the convertible 350 has probably the sickest engine swap ever
what does that s15 have under the hood? Ann SR or an RB?
i thing in every car is gps witch measure sideways centrifugal acceleration, who got more is the winner
wowthey are grader based on style, length of the drift, speed at which vehicles enter the corner and lot more. There are special devices that measures some of the things I mentioned above. At least in JApan, not sure if they have them here.
how are these drift races/events scored? like what are the two cars out there trying to do beside look/sound/drive awesome?
