IRS is not needed for cornering. The amount of under body stiffeners and suspension upgrades the drop wheel hop to nothing keep the car on the track/road/strip. IRS is over rated.
are u retarded the mustang came out in 641/2 and to say its always had bad suspension is plain dumb the steedas roushes saleens all had brilliant suspensions
go 370zThere actually is an IRS transplant you can buy for the mustang, works surprisingly well.
Or you can go with a watts linkage, again, a very good substitute while still saving an abundance of weight and still delivering power in a similar fashion as a live rear axle.
roush still doesn’t have a independent rear suspension and neither does the fr500c mustang which took down porsches and anything else it raced against.
muscle mustangs and fast fords
yes they are both 4.6L engines but the difference is in the number of valves per cylinder 2 in 03 and 04 and 3 in 05+ the engines are very different when it comes to power.
