The subaru is possibly the ugliest car ever created. It could go 0-60 in one second and cost three dollars and I still wouldn’t want to be seen driving it. The ladies love the Mustang, yo.

Take those extra 4 cyl away from the mustang and IT wouldnt be ****. Or throw a V8 into the subi and race again! This is the dumbest argument about stock cars. If youre looking for bang for the buck straight for the factory, then you need to compare the cars AS IS! Who would ever buy an STi just to take the turbo off. At that point, just save $20K and buy the regular Impreza. If you want an FI mustang, get the GT500 for another $11K over the STi. put a turbo on the stang and void your warrenty

This is hardly a good comparison. I like both cars, but there in different leagues. American muscle vs jap ricer? The Taurus SHO may cost a few grand more, but thats a more fair comparison, both are turbocharged, and both are AWD.

Apples to oranges comparison but I guess if you are just looking for fun then almost any car can be compared.
Still…. Mustangs are for red light racing, burning out, parking lot donuts while the STI is more for twisty bends, winter drifting, even a bit of off roading so it’s whatever suits your needs.
Personally I’d take the STI as well.
